NEW PROMOTIONAL BRANDING OF TOWELS IS MORE AFFORDABLE THANKS TO LOW VOLUME WEAVING RUNS
Anyone who uses towels to carry their branding message will welcome the news that small runs are now possible at low cost. Specialist supplier, Brennard Textiles, working closely with East Lancashire Towel Company, have created a package where quality towels in a range of sizes can be customised with a woven logo, name or message. Besides typical users such as larger hotels the two companies expect the short run facility will bring the branding potential to those with smaller budgets and to promotional companies.
East Lancashire Towel Company’s managing director, Peter Hobson, commented, “Many weavers need to produce a run of many thousands to achieve an acceptable price. Through our traditional method of manufacture and the ability to totally control every stage of design and production, we are now able to produce quality towels with woven logos, in a range of sizes, in a run of less than a thousand.”
Adam Shone of Brennard Textiles explained, “Following on from developing branded bar towels in low volumes to meet the demand from micro breweries, we realised there was a market need for towels in larger standard sizes. We can now meet this need with products that include sophisticated logos woven to a close match to most corporate colours.”
Early customers have included the BT Cardiff Devils ice hockey team, St Andrews golf course and Burnley Football Club. First Concept director, Richard Philip was delighted with the 400 towels provided for the Great Britain team to use at the Maccabi Games.
Achieving the best colour standards with weaving is much more difficult than printing, so Brennard Textiles provides full advice on the process as part of the service – tel. 0161 761 5656.
